The most expensive streets in 2021 revealed

The Halifax has revealed the UK’s most expensive streets to live on across the country.

So what are the most expensive streets in Yorkshire & The Humber and more importantly which are in our part of the great county of Yorkshire?  In the top 5 for 2021 in Yorkshire & The Humber and, in Beadnall Copley’s area of operation, are:

-          Fulwith Mill Lane, Harrogate - with an average selling price of £1,797,000

On the south side of Harrogate and with views over the Crimple Valley, Fulwith Mill Lane with its’ mix of individual properties has long been regarded as ‘the place to live’ in Harrogate.

-          Ling Lane, Scarcroft, Leeds - with an average selling price of £1,551,000

Discerning purchasers look to Ling Lane for stylish homes with privacy and which offer close connections to Leeds and the motorway network.  Our Wetherby office has just taken instructions to sell a fabulous detached property to the east of Ling Lane with 2 acre paddock at a guide price of £1,850,000.

-          Linton Lane, Linton, Wetherby - with an average selling price of £1,353,000

The exclusive village of Linton is Wetherby’s ‘jewel in the crown’ and properties along Linton Lane offer delightful elevated views across Wetherby golf course and neighbouring Collingham.

-          Sandmoor Drive, Alwoodley, Leeds - with an average selling price of £1,351,000

With highly regarded schools, top golf courses and excellent amenities close at hand and, just a short drive into Leeds City Centre, Sandmoor Drive has become the most sought-after residential address in North Leeds.

No surprise that London residential streets are the most expensive in the country – with Tite Street in the London Borough of Chelsea and Kensington topping the leader board this year, with the average house price being a staggering £28.9M.  The street, set between the banks of the River Thames and Kings Road replaces last year’s top spot, Avenue Road in London’s St John’s Wood.

If you’d like us to keep in touch in 2022 about new properties coming onto the market in any of these areas call your local Beadnall Copley office to register your details – it’s important to be registered with us as many of our high-end properties sell without being fully marketed and listed on the internet.
