Beadnall Copley’s ‘Race for Life for Wendy’

This year our teams are supporting ‘Race for Life’ in Harrogate, where we’ll all be having a bit of fun whilst raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK and those who battle this terrible disease that affects so many lives and families. However this year the event has an extra special meaning for those of us from Beadnall Copley taking part.
Our lovely Wendy Hartley, Beadnall Copley’s longest-serving employee – lots of you will have been greeted by her smile and infectious personality at our Harrogate sales office and at property viewings around the town – has already survived cancer but this has sadly returned and she is now on a treatment path. However in true Wendy style and, we’d expect absolutely nothing less from her, she remains tremendously positive about her diagnosis and the future, in Wendy’s words “it’s full steam ahead”.
So this year we’re all doing ‘Race for Life for Wendy’ and are booked to do one of two events – the muddy challenge and 5K – with Wendy herself joining in.
“Thank you so much organising the ‘Race for Life for Wendy’. It’s so kind of you to do this for me and is a tremendous moral boost. I look forward to participating as well, probably the more leisurely 3 or 5 km walk, but count me in!!”
